About

This site was made as a final project for my Web Evaluation and Design class in spring of 2022, as part of my Library and Information Science degree. Since I am looking to become an archivist, I decided to make my website a mini archive about one of my favorite hobbies, video games.

Why Role-Playing Games?

While I play a variety of games, anything from farming simulators and platformers to third person shooters and action adventures, my home has always been in role-playing games. Whether it's a case of creating a character and influencing the plot through my choices, or simply watching a wonderful story unfold through my progress, my heart is in the story and its characters.

Why Gameboy Advance Specifically?

Originally, I had wanted to do RPG's within a specific decade across all platforms. However, once I began to realize the sheer volume of entries I would need to make in order for the list to be complete, I knew I would not be able to finish it in time. It would need to be narrowed down, both by years, and by system. The Gameboy Advance was chosen because it not only had some RPG's that I dearly loved, but it's life span (the years of which the system was active before being retired) was quite short.

But the List is Still Incomplete!

Due to a combination of being a full-time student and a lot of personal life changes at the time, I was not able to finish all the entries like I had hoped. Consider the site to be a work in progress, I do hope to finish it one day when I have more spare time!
